AGENCIA CUBANA DE RAP Founded in 2001, the Cuban Agency for Rap, a state run office, was designated solely to promote rap on the island. Today the Agency offers a record label called Asere Productions and a magazine publication titled ‘Movimiento.' The Cuban Agency for Rap does not have an internationally accessible URL. However information regarding rap in Cuba and the annual hip-hop symposiums produced by La Fabri K in conjunction with the Cuban Agency for Rap and/or the Hermanos Saîz Association can be found through http://www.cubarte.cult.cu/
ASOCIACION HERMANOS SAIZ Entertainment branch of the Young Communists Union, CUBA, known for hosting the Habana Hip-Hop Festivals 1995 - 2004.
ANÓNIMO CONSEJO Anónimo Consejo formed ten years ago in Cojimar, along the outskirts of Havana, by Yosmel Sarrías Nápoles (Sekou Messiah) and Maigel Fernando Entenza Jaramillo (Kokino). Anónimo Consejo focuses their lyrics on issues of afro-nationalism, family and brotherhood. The group forms part of the Cuban Agency for Rap and has headlined the Habana Hip Hop festival for the past eight years. They have toured through Brazil, Venezuela and the United States, selling out the Apollo theatre in the year 2000. Today despite restricted access to resources for audio recordings or any type of national much less global distribution Anónimo Consejo continues to fill concerts to capacity in Cuba and is globally considered one of the most recognized Cuban rap groups.
B-GIRL BE B-Girl Be is an annual summit and series of events, workshops, exhibits, and performances that celebrate women in hip-hop. The mission of B-Girl Be is to influence and inspire leadership to change the perceptions and roles of women in hip-hop for current and future generations.
DJ WREK DJ Wrek is an instrumental player in the Maria Isa project. AN integral partner with EMetrece Productions, Chicago's own DJ wrek has made a series of guest appearances in the Twin Cities, such as the Emetrece Productions present an Afro Latin Tribute to MLK day and the Maria Isa M.I. SPlit Personalities CD release party. DJ Wrek is internationally known for producing the best hip-hop, reggaeton, and dancehall mix tapes on the streets.
INTIFADA Songwriter and emcee from Puerto Rico, Intifada is known for his politically charged and conscious lyrics. He has toured the US and Latin America as a renown Boricua hip-hop artists. Intifada appears in Melisa Riviere's Ph.D. productions as a featured artist on the third track currently in progress with a (soon to be announced) rap duo from Cuba.
IN THE HOUSE MAGAZINE The original Latin hip-hop and reggaeton magazine. An integral print documentary of the genre for over a decade out of Puerto Rico, In The House Magazine is the leading authority on Latin hip-hop and reggaeton worldwide. The magazine not only covers in the genres from an international scope but also comes with a free CD containing exclusive In The House tracks from establish Latin hip-hop and reggaeton artists as well as new up-and-coming artists. Melisa Riviere has published various articles through In The House Magazine offering them the exclusive Spanish articles of a large portion of her Ph.D. work as well as articles about B-Girl Be and Emetrece Productions projects. Maria Isa's track "Mal De Ojo" was published first on the In The House Magazine CD from Issue #30, "In The House Radio Show: The Remix."
JIGGIRI RECORDS Jiggiri Records is the label beloning to Atlantic recording artist Tego Calderon. Jiggiri Records has been an integral sponsor of Time Machine Squad events held in Puerto Rico annually and Time Machine Squad documentaries produced by Emetrece Productions. Tego appears in the first hip-hop collaboration between Cuba and Puerto Rico in Melisa Riviere's Ph.D. productions as a featured artist on the thesis title track "Son Dos Alas" with Anónimo Consejo.
THE LAB STUDIO The Lab Studies is the Latin hip-hop and reggaeton production headquarters of the world. Owned by well-known producer Echo, The Lab Studio is Puerto RIco's high-end recording facility for rappers of all types. Melisa Riviere worked at The Lab and with Echo directly on the production of her Ph.D. title track "Son Dos Alas."
LEROY SMOKES // SMOKE SIGNYL PRODUCTIONS Leroy Smokes are a Twin CIties based hip-hop/funk band with an impressive local repertoire. The Smokes have often perfromed as an integral part of the Maria Isa band. Members Fred Gotdredson, a.k.a. Freddy Kruger," and Kyle Borchert, a.k.a. "High Style Kyle," form the production duo "The Goodfellas" who, as part of Smoke Signyl Productions, served as the primary producers of the Maria Isa "M.I. Split Peronalities" album.
OBSESIÓN Obsesión, made up of emcees Magia and El Tipo Este, are a married couple who make up one of the leading rap groups in Cuba. Obsesión's trajectory is over a decade old having gained local, national and international recognition touring the US and Europe. They are the co-founders of La Fabri K (The Factory), a project that began as a dual rap group entourage with Doble Filo and today has developed into a community project to ferment hip hop throughout Cuba via annual symposiums, conferences, multi-media projects and youth outreach. Magia Emcee participates in Melisa Riviere's Ph.D collaborative production tracks on the track "Guasabara" with Puerto RIcan artist Siete Nueve.
PHANTOM VOX // HIP-HOP VOX Established in 1998, the Phantom Vox, Corporation is a Puerto Rican company dedicated to the multimedia industry. Its corporate philosophy is grounded on both a strong business liaison with the Puerto Rican workforce and a commitment to the community at large. The Corporation is divided among Phantom Vox Studios, Phantom Vox Publishing and phantomvox.com, or phvx.com. Phantom Vox Studios allows for music recording and editing of music and commercial videos. Phantom Vox Publishing supervises licensing for the work of its songwriters. Finally, phvx.com manages and develops everything regarding the company's website. Hip-Hop Vox is a branc weekly radio show broadcast throughout the island via the University of Puerto Rico’s FM radio station dedicated to the education and promotion of Latin hip-hop on the island. Phantom VOx is the exclusive distributor in Puerto Rico of Emetrece Productions Maria Isa "M.I. Split Personalities" album and the 2006 B-Girl Be DVD.

SIETE NUEVE Siete Nueve is a reknown hip-hop artist from Puerto Rico. His career as an independent emcee was established with the 2003 release of his debut album "El progresso" which catapulted him into a distint category of Latin Hip-Hop artists. He has shared the stage with artists from around the world performing throughout Puerto Rico, the US and latin America. His recent 2007 release "Trabuco" contains the second track produced from Melisa RIviere's Ph.D. work titled "Guasabara" featuring Magia from the rap duo Obsesión (Cuba).
SONGO SOUNDS Songo Sounds is a reknown high-end audio prodution studio located in Miami. Emetrece Productions has collaborated with Songo Sounds for many years as an integral hip-hop production partner for soundtracks, beats, audio engineering and mastering. Songo Sounds is known for being the home of the Borinquen Beats Deli (BBD), made up of the production Duo Edgar Matta and Ivan Gutierrez. BBD and MattaTracks Corp. have a co-publishing deal with Warner Chappel Music Inc. and production agreements for 2005, 2006 & 2007 with Machete Music-Universal,SonyBMG, Motown, White Lion, Epic & some indie labels.
TEGO CALDERON Tego Calderón redefined hip-hop and reggaeton with the production of ‘El Abayarde’ in 2002 yielding an unprecedented Afro-Latin listening base and reifying issues that pertain to the contemporary diaspora in the Americas. He has become known as a ‘phenomenon’ by his capacity to add social, political and racial dimensions to the message of his music while keeping the music accessible and entertaining. He was the first reggaeton/Hip-Hop artists to sign to a major label ("Tego Calderón Signs With Atlantic " Billboard, June 09, 2005; ) and is recognized as the pioneer for taking reggaeton to it global dimensions. Tego appears in the first hip-hop collaboration between Cuba and Puerto Rico in Melisa Riviere's Ph.D. productions as a featured artist on the thesis title track "Son Dos Alas" with Anónimo Consejo.
TIME MACHINE SQUAD Founded in 1989, TIme Machine Squad (TMS) is a crew of breakers, graffiti artists, DJs, and MCs who have represented hip-hop throughout Puerto Rico for nearly two decades. Known for organizing two annual events called 'Express Your Skills' and 'Festival de Hip-Hop Boricua,' TMS has authored the definition of Borcua hip-hop. Dancers from the collective have shared stages with Tego Calderon, Voltio, Eddie Dee, Ivy Queen, and many many more. Emetrece Productions has worked with TMS as their event documentalist and as a co-sponsor/co-producer of their annual events since 2003.
VELCRO Harvard graduate Velcro is a world reknown Puerto RIcan DJ, MC and producer. His debut solo album titled 'El Album' stands out as a defining chapter of Latin Hip-Hop. Velcro co-produces and co-hosts the underground hip hop show titled “Hip Hop Vox FM” on the University of Puerto Rico’s FM radio station. His mixtapes, co produced with DJ and lyrisist TEK1 titled 'La Perfecta' vol 1 & 2 have become wide spread relics of Latin hip-hop throughout Puerto Rico and abroad. Velcro produced and appears as emcee along side TEK1 on the track "Dicen de mi' on the Emetrece Productions' Maria Isa album "M.I. Split Personalities."
